Dog adoption news around the SF Bay Area

The East Bay SPCA announces that adoptions were up in 2011.  They found homes for 2,472 more dogs than the previous year.  Adopted dogs included special needs dogs in the Club Second Chance such as Nala, a three legged pit bull.  Click here for videos of the Club Second Chance dogs.

Bruno Mars has been making appearances at the Tri-Valley Adoption Center.  That is Bruno Mars, the dog.  He might not make music, but he knows several tricks such as spin, sit, shake, lie down, come and leave it.  Bruno loves kids and is fun to be with.  For more information on Bruno click here.

Pound Puppy Rescue is having an adoption event this Saturday at the San Jose (North) Pet Food Express at 5148 Stevens Creek Boulevard from noon - 3:00 pm.  Twenty puppies will be available for viewing and adoption for qualified adopters.  Click here for more details.
