St. Johns County Education Foundation and Communities in Schools of St. Johns County is presenting The Community Empowerment Series. Sponsored by The St. Augustine Record and First Coast News, as well as supported by The St. Johns Sheriff's Department, this event will be an educational and empowering series that is a must attend. All kids school age are welcome!
Session one:
Who: Stacey Honowitz - She has served over twenty-two years in the sex crimes and child abuse unit of the State Attorney's office in Florida. She has been featured on Good Morning America, 48 Hours, Fox News, CNN, HLN, MSNBC and many more. Her books have influenced and helped parents and schools educate young children today about their private parts.
Stacey Honowitz will be discussing stranger danger, sexual predators, the media and sex crimes and how to talk to your kids about private parts. This is open to all school age children.

When: Saturday, February 2nd, 2013.
9:00am Doors open. There will be FREE finger printing for kids. There will also be exhibitors booths by local organizations. Please come early and visit them all.
Lecture will begin at 10:00am. State Attorney R.J. Larizza will be introducing Stacey Honowitz. The segment will last until about noon.
Meet and greet book signing from 12:00pm - 1:00pm.
