Does this DoJ White Paper let Obama murder you?

For almost two years, President Obama has been secretly assassinating American citizens without charge, trial or conviction. While Democrats across the US either deny it’s true or argue why it’s necessary, more and more Americans find themselves horrified to find out they no longer have civil rights. Now, one network has leaked the Justice Dept memo that explains why the White House believes it’s legal to murder Americans without charge or trial. Read the full document here.

The Drone Wars

It’s right out of the movie Star Wars. And yet when the movie was released in the 1970’s, few Americans would have believed that in just 30 years, the world would be embroiled in actual, genuine Drone Wars. Even more shocking to the average American is that this US-led Drone War is being waged against them - the American people. Just as die-hard fans of the sci-fi thriller were blown away to find out that the righteous Republic in Star Wars is what evolves into Darth Vader’s evil Empire, Americans are beginning to see the same transformation in their own once great Republic.

Revealing just how far to the extreme right President Obama has drifted since taking office four years ago, his Republican nominee for the job of CIA Director also happens to be the architect of President George W. Bush’s policy of torture and secret murders of enemy combatants. John Brennan, the President’s CIA nominee, faced harsh questioning by the US Senate last week over his direction of such controversial programs. At the same time, bipartisan, grassroots activists across the country are trying to derail his confirmation.

Leaked DoJ Memo

In an attempt to blow the whistle on illegal murders ordered by Brennan and the White House, one or more whistle-blowers inside the Department of Justice leaked a top secret DoJ White Paper on Monday that outlines the Obama administration’s policy on the program. Within hours, US Senators were berating John Brennan on national TV over his involvement, directives and beliefs regarding the controversial assassination campaign.

According to NBC’s Michael Isikoff, the most frightening portion of the leaked DoJ White Paper is the portion that changes the nation’s previous understanding of the White House assassination program. Previously, it was thought that an American had to pose an ‘imminent threat’ to the US. Now, it appears the Obama administration doesn’t even need evidence that any threat exists before it can order the murder of an American citizen without trial or charge.

The network quotes the White Paper saying, ‘The Condition that an operational leader present an ‘imminent’ threat of violent attack against the United States does not require the United States to have clear evidence that a specific attack on US persons and interests will take place in the immediate future.’ What does that mean exactly? That’s what the US Senate confirmation hearing is trying to find out right now.
