Does the land of Israel belong to her or not?

See also

The fighting over the land of Israel has been going on for thousands of years. No matter which side of the fence any one person is on in the matter, there is only one voice that counts as to what the truth is for the ownership of Israel's land and how far her borders really reach. Every person who calls himself Christian is commanded to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. No one who claims relationship with the One True God through Jesus Christ can oppose Israel in his heart without consequences.

Genesis 12:3

I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

Psalm 122: 6-9

6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May they prosper who love you.
7 Peace be within your walls,
Prosperity within your palaces.”
8 For the sake of my brethren and companions,
I will now say, “Peace be within you.”
9 Because of the house of the Lord our God
I will seek your good.

The God of the Bible gave the land of Israel to them as an inheritance forever. Abraham was made into a great nation through his son, Isaac. Jesus is a descendant through this line, therefore all Christians also enjoy being a descendant of Abraham. Christians are grafted in spiritually because of their faith in Jesus Christ.

Genesis 15:18

God declares to Abraham, “To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates.” God later confirms this promise to Abraham’s son Isaac and Isaac’s son Jacob (whose name was later changed to Israel). When the Israelites were about to invade the Promised Land, God reiterated the land promise, as recorded in Joshua 1:4, “Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates—all the Hittite country—to the Great Sea on the west.”

Israel doesn't even claim all that is hers

All of the land modern Israel currently possesses is hers, plus all of the land of the Palestinians (the West Bank and Gaza), plus some of Egypt and Syria, plus all of Jordan, plus some of Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Israel currently possesses only a fraction of the land God had promised.

Land for peace has never worked

The only reason that Israel occupies such a small version of the land promised to her is because much of it was given away to her enemies for PEACE. With so vast an amount of land given up the Palestinians are still not happy. The terrorism has increased and the aniti-semitism against Israel has increased as well. Israel is being attacked constantly with most nations, including the United States, urging her to essentially lay down her arms and stop retaliating against the attacks. How foolish can that be? The curse of God will be upon us as a nation for this let alone the fact that you don't EVER deal with a bully by giving in to him. Even Hollywood knows better than that. In any movie ever made with a bully in it, the victim NEVER gained relief until he fought back and beat him into submission. This is not a political or cultural battle. It is clearly a spiritual one. That subject is for another time. God WILL come to Israel's aid and Israel's enemies will receive a just due from the Creator.

Joel 3:2

I will gather all the nations And bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there On behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; And they have divided up My land.
