“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Todd Tucker met Kandi Burruss while he was filming the show. They started talking while Kandi was traveling with the other ladies in South Africa a couple of seasons ago. On the following season, Todd was cast as an official member of the Bravo family, as they were getting serious. They had bought two houses and were talking marriage. According to a new All About the Real Housewives report published on June 6, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Todd Tucker admits that he has no regrets marrying Kandi.
Of course, Todd hasn't been having an easy time on the show. From the beginning, Kandi's mother, Mama Joyce, wasn't supportive of Todd one bit. On the show this season, Joyce claimed that she had someone watching him and that she was just trying to catch him cheating. In addition, she thought that Todd was just marrying Kandi for money. Despite not getting support from Joyce, Todd decided to marry Kandi anyways. And he has no regrets.
“Marrying her is definitely the best decision I’ve made in my life. It’s so funny, they say when you get married you live longer and it is true. When we got engaged, my blood pressure actually started going down. I had a little high blood pressure and as we got engaged and got married I went back to the doctor and they were like, ‘Oh your blood pressure is really good.’ So I definitely feel the benefits of the marriage and you wake up happy every day, so far. I’m only a month in, so you’ll have to check in with me a year later,” Todd has revealed.
The wedding was filmed by Bravo and all of the ladies from the cast were invited. It is a special that are playing on Bravo. And fans will get to see how much of a struggle the wedding and the planning was, considering he wasn't getting the support he wanted. Joyce has said that she will apologize to Todd if she was wrong about him, but she hasn't revealed how much time she will give him before issuing that apology. One can imagine she is still watching him like a hawk.
He adds that he is still working on his relationship with Mama Joyce. He admits that things have been tough and that they are still working through things day by day. He believes that Joyce just loves her daughter and wants the best for Kandi, meaning she is overprotective. As fans remember, no man that Kandi has brought home has been good enough for Joyce.
What do you think of Joyce? Do you think it is cute that Todd fought for Kandi?
