USA - A Theatre Chat favorite actress Sharyn Peoples true story of her valet experience has gone viral. The video was seen on NBC with Matt Lauer who said "I like the fact that she stood up and told the story... because I think hopefully it will help some other people... and might prevent this in the future."
The popular Florida Actress parked her car with LAZ PARKING in Boca Raton Florida, then she found the insult on her valet ticket left in her car. The description states "Play" as she is an actress in a play, "Red Dress" as she was wearing a red dress and then the word "fat". "I was mortified, embarrassed in front of my boyfriend especially. This is not at all acceptable. "
Dan Silva sent an apology letter "Please accept our sincerest apologies.." "physical appearance will not be written on tickets" - after her phone call where she was told from LAZ PARKING "Well you know we employee 20 year old kids..."
"I have spoken directly with Ms, peoples and expressed our deepest apologies and the employee has been disciplined." Alan Lazowski Chairman and CEO LAZ PARKING.
"LAZ Parking is one of the largest parking operators in the US. What drives us is our commitment and passion to serve our employees, our Partners and our millions of Parkers." www.lazparking.com.
"I feel that employers should take their employees' actions towards customers much more seriously. Obviously from all of the attention my story has gotten, this is a very common issue that resonates with people throughout the entire country. Young adults should be held accountable in the workplace. Period. I am not the first person to have a customer service experience like this and if it takes me being vocal about it to bring some awareness to it, then I will continue to speak up for those who can't or won't." Actress Sharyn Peoples.
