Does Kelly Osbourne have epilepsy?: What caused the seizure? (Video)

If Kelly Osbourne has epilepsy, doctors have not confirmed it. As of right now, it's only a possibility, reports TMZ, March 9. The 28-year-old co-host of E!'s "Fashion Police" suffered a seizure while taping an episode of "Fashion Police." On March 7, after falling out of a chair and then shaking, she was rushed to the hospital on a stretcher. Now, the daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne is recovering.

"Thank U all 4 UR beautiful well wishes yes I did have a seizure they are just trying to figure out why?" Kelly tweeted on March 8. With the tweet, she posted a pic of her tattooed arm with an IV in it.

Sharon Osbourne tweeted, also on March 8, "I want to thank everyone for their concern about @MissKellyO. She's doing fine she's at Cedars and is surrounded by the best doctors & love."

What is epilepsy? According to Epilepsy.com, it is "a neurological condition, which affects the nervous system. Epilepsy is also known as a seizure disorder. It is usually diagnosed after a person has had at least two seizures that were not caused by some known medical condition like alcohol withdrawal or extremely low blood sugar. Sometimes, according to the International League Against Epilepsy, epilepsy can be diagnosed after one seizure, if a person has a condition that places them at high risk for having another."

Both Sharon and her daughter are active members on Twitter, particularly Kelly. If Kelly Osbourne does have epilepsy, or if she does not, fans are sure to hear about it on Twitter.

The "Fashion Police" co-host often finds herself in physical trouble. Last month, for example, she sprained her ankle.
