In 2012, Johnny had a tax lien on him because he failed to pay money to the IRS. Apparently, on December 7, 2012 a federal tax lien was filed in Wilmington Delaware with the Recorder of Deeds for $37,728.75 for 2007. The notice was prepared and signed at Baltimore, MD. Radar online reports that it is unclear whether Johnny paid the amount owed to the IRS or if it is still pending.
This information comes public at the same time as Johnny is going through a messy divorce from his husband, Victor Voronov. Both men have accused one another of domestic violence, since their marriage on New Year’s Eve 2011. Victor filed for a temporary restraining order against Johnny on March 21, 2014. However, Victor has accused Johnny of violating the restraining order when he sent Victor a hurtful email. That court case is set to be heard next week.
Also, on March 21, 2014, Johnny filed for an order that would allow him to remove his property from the couple’s apartment for 30 minutes. He showed up with six police officers and Victor’s cousin to help remove his possessions while Victor was in court. Victor came home when Johnny took the family pet, Tema. He tearfully called his crisis manager, Wendy Feldman. Victor alleges that Tema is a family pet, while Johnny insists that Tema is his pet.
