Does 'Bachelorette' Andi send Chris Soules home due to his arrest record?

"Bachelorette" contestant Chris Soules is rumored to be the next "Bachelor," but will his arrest record force the folks at ABC to reconsider? Soules' biggest secret is not the fact that he wrote Andi Dorfman love letters as her secret admirer. Radar Online states that the handsome farmer was arrested not only on DUI charges, but he has a rap sheet that includes more than 13 other charges between 1998 and 2010.

Blogger Reality Steve is confident that Chris will be selected as the next "Bachelor" and his spoilers indicate that Andi will dump him on the overnight dates prior to heading to the fantasy suite. If what the spoilers say are true, fans will be left to wonder if Andi dumps him because she found out about his arrest record or because she wasn't thrilled with Chris' suggestion that she would have "an opportunity to be a homemaker" if they ended up tying the knot. Or it could be that he was lured by producers to become the reality show's next leading man, so Andi was told to dump him. Not that they had a shred of chemistry between them to begin with.

Is Josh Murray cheating on ‘Bachelorette’ Andi Dorfman?

Farmer Soules hasn't had a brush with the law since 2010, so hopefully he's limiting his drinking to hotel rooms in Brussels and on his farm Iowa. In 2010 when he was found guilty and fined due to a registration violation. The arrest record that Radar Online posted this week also shows a list of other minor infractions, including the time that Soules was arrested for underage drinking and fined for driving a few miles over the speed limit.

However, there is a more serious charge back in 2006 that states Soules was arrested for drunk driving and was found guilty. He was fined in excess of $500 and served a year of probation. He was 24 at the time of the arrest. See Chris Soules' arrest record here.

'Bachelorette' hometown spoilers: Does Andi send Marcus Grodd home?

Perhaps it was small-town boredom that caused Soules to be a little reckless in the past. Going six miles over the speed limit in Iowa sounds like a ridiculous charge, but hopefully his drinking and driving is a thing of the past.

If he does become the next "Bachelor" it will be interesting to see if his arrest record is brought up or swept under the Bachelor mansion rug. Hopefully there are no other secrets that he's hiding. His calm demeanor on the "Bachelorette" may be a sign that he's finally grown up and is ready to settle down, find a wife and make her a happy homemaker.
