Doe B was confirmed dead by his management early Saturday morning after reports of an early morning shootout hit social media. The rapper was a victim of an incident in Montgomery, Alabama that had the police responding to multiple gunshot in the area. After rumors spread, the sad news was confirmed by Doe B’s management. Doe B was killed in the incident.
“On behalf of Doe B's management I would like to thank all of his fans and say Rest in Peace my brother Glenn Thomas,” read the tweet of the management confirming the untimely death of the 22-year-old rapper on Saturday morning.
Speaking to all the friends and fans of the slain rapper, artist T.I. spoke out about the incident and offered his condolences.
“RIP to my lil brother Doe B. We gon miss u my **gga. U'll never be forgotten & U WILL NOT DIE IN VAIN. We Love U champ. Always,” tweeted T.I. from his official Twitter account on Saturday. Doe B was signed to T.I.'s Atlanta-based label, Grand Hustle Records.
So far there has been no determination on the incident that led up to the shooting behind a night club Police are still investigating the situation and more details are expected as the day progresses.
This isn’t the first shooting that Doe B was involved in. He also was part of another serious altercation several years ago.
