Three decades after the Dodger franchise led the way with a full color screen in 1980, ANC Sports Enterprises’ 10mm 1080p LED screen will again set the standard for video entertainment in Major League Baseball. The new video screens will be ready for the 2013 season and will boast the highest pixel density of any stadium's video displays.
“ANC’s technologies, integration capabilities and game day services will help to keep our fans entertained and informed, while providing them a most memorable experience at every game at Dodger Stadium,” said Lon Rosen, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of the Dodgers.
The ANC screens will show images in high definition in both right and left field at the stadium, the third oldest venue in the major leagues.
In keeping with tradition, both screens are designed in the hexagonal shape of the original scoreboards.
“Integrating high-definition video screens into the original hexagonal scoreboard shape will not only provide some of the most impressive visuals in sports, but also retain our classic ballpark feel,” Rosen continued.
The new screens are more than 77 feet wide and 38 feet high, tapering down to a height of 24 feet at their ends.
All told, the screens will feature a viewing area of almost 2,500 square feet with more than 2.3 million pixels on each screen.

In addition to the big screens, ANC is integrating two video displays along the outfield wall, each being 6’ high by 61’ high and an LED ribbon system 1121 feet along the surface of the Club Level fascia. All of the screens will work together, showing statistics, animated content, sponsor engagement, and fan interaction.
