While Scott Rolen hasn't officially retired, at least another team is interested in him besides the Cincinnati Reds.
The Los Angeles Dodgers, who have had a busy off-season, has evaluated Rolen as a possible free agent signing. Apparently, if he does decide to come back, there will be some interest in him.
While the Reds have also expressed interest in him, he will have to play on a limited schedule, as a part-time player. With the Dodgers, he would have a shot at more playing time, even potentially a starting role.
The Dodgers are currently expected to go with Luis Cruz as their third baseman in 2013. But if Rolen signs with the team, then he would be the starter.
