An amazing piece of performance, the twin turbo Dodge Viper modified for the standing mile run is a beast. Clocking in at 231.666 mph, this "SVS TTRS" edition Dodge Viper features twin turbos turning extreme boost pressure and E85 bio-fuel to cool it down. The ethanol fuel helps this resist pre-detonation and allows high amounts of boost pressure for longer periods of time. This type of setup also dictates use of water or methanol injection. Intercoolers should also be cooled with Co2 or other type of external cooling to maximize performance.
More standing mile fun!

The Dodge viper with it's larger 10 cylinder engine and long chassis is the ideal vehicle for high speed stability. It's heavy enough in the front but also due to rear cab design it has plenty of weight over the wheels. The aerodynamics of the cabin apply pressure over the rear wheels as well, increasing stability and downforce as overall speed increases. It looks like a rocket for a reason! The Dodge Viper is built and designed with high speed in mind and as you see in the above video stability is near perfect. Check out below the bonus video to see how well it handles on the salt flat!
