Wisconsin’s horse show season will start up in full force before long, and Badger State equestrians are gearing up in Dodge County.
The Dodge County Horsemen’s Association (DCHA) presents its annual tack swap and craft sale on Saturday, February 4th. This indoor marketplace event features all things horsey, such as:
- barn supplies
- bits
- bridles
- chaps
- crafts
- door prizes
- equestrian apparel
- halters and leads
- helmets
- horse blankets
- horse-themed gifts
- refreshments
- saddles
- spurs
- tack
- training equipment
- and much more.
A silent auction will also be held, with proceeds helping to pay for the addition of electricity in the Northern Kettle Moraine facilities, a favorite locale for Wisconsin’s equestrian trail riders.
The sale runs from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Juneau Community Center, located at 500 Lincoln Drive, in Juneau, Wisconsin (approximately 50 miles northeast of Madison).
What is the Dodge County Horsemen’s Association?
The DCHA is a group of horse lovers of all ages from Southeastern Wisconsin, who meet for equestrian events, training experiences and equine education. The DCHA also raises funds for specific financial assistance programs related to the horse industry, sponsors horse shows, and helps to maintain local horseback riding trails.
