Infertility is an emotional and stressful issue for many couples. It is a complex issue that can have a multitude of causes.
Navigating possible treatments and options to improve fertility can be costly and confusing. That's why a free infertility seminar is being offered from 9 a.m. to noon April 20 at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center.
OB/GYN physicians will discuss becoming healthy enough to plan a pregnancy, as well as reasons why some couples have infertility issues. Speakers include fertility specialist Dr. Vladimir Troche, Dr. Allan Sawyer and Dr. Desiderio Avila.

National Infertility Awareness week is April 21-27. Resolve is a national infertility association with the goal of raising awareness of infertility and promoting reproductive health. The association states that one in eight couples in the United States faces some form of infertility.
