The first "Doctor Who" episode of the season officially introduced us to Peter Capaldi as the 12th Doctor and saw he and Clara starting to figure out where they go next. It was thanks to a call from the 11th Doctor that Clara stayed with him, and now, they're off on another adventure, one against a familiar foe.

In this next episode, a Dalek fleet surrounds a lone rebel ship, and only the Doctor can help. He needs Clara by his side to face his great enemy, and he's going to be confronted with a decision that could change the Daleks forever as he must examine his conscience. Will he answer the question, "am I a good man?"

The "Into the Dalek" promo shows that the Doctor seems to have been MIA in Clara's life for a bit. "It's not my fault I got distracted," he defends himself when she questions his whereabouts. Besides, they can "always find something." With that, it's time to go "into darkness," as he says, and in this case, it means the return of the Daleks.

Plus, check out the slideshow for the promotional photos that have been released. They offer a look at the Doctor, Clara and the Daleks, as well as Samuel Anderson, who is being introduced as Danny Pink, a teacher at Coal Hill School, where Clara teaches. Also, get a look at Zawe Ashton as Journey Blue and Michael Smiley as Colonel Morgan Blue.

"Doctor Who" season 8 airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. on BBC America. What do you think of the episode 2 "Into the Dalek" photos and preview?
