"Doctor Who" season 7 returns this month with all-new episodes and adventures for the Doctor (Matt Smith) and his new companion, Clara (Jenna-Louise Coleman), and on Tuesday, March 5, BBC America released new photos from the first episodes.
The rest of "Doctor Who" season 7 begins with "The Bells of St. John," written by lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat. This episode will introduce a new nemesis in the Spoonheads, whom the Doctor fights when he finds that something sinister is lurking in the Wi-Fi. As the season continues, the Doctor and Clara will also be facing the Cybermen's return and an unexpected arrival from the Ice Warrior. Moffat has teased that in the 50th year for "Doctor Who," we'll see the characters "up in the sky and under the sea." They'll be "running round the rings of an alien world and then a haunted house." And something else to look forward to is "a never before attempted journey to the centre of the TARDIS." Moffat also revealed that in the finale, "the Doctor's greatest secret will at least be revealed." There are also a number of guest stars to look forward to.
The new "Doctor Who" photos, which you can check out in the slideshow at the top of this article, show the Doctor and Clara in the first four episodes of the second half of season 7, teasing fun, trouble (of course), the Ice Warrior, and more.
"Doctor Who" season 7 returns March 30 to BBC America at 8 p.m. What do you think of the newest photos?
