The Examiner has learned that Dr. Barbara Bellar, whose video of a speech she gave against ObamaCare went viral, has been fired by the medical center at which she worked, MetroSouth Medical Center of Chicago, Ill.

Bellar served as chair of the ethics committee at MetroSouth.
The hospital has refused to comment on the firing, citing confidentiality in personnel matters. But when Bellar asked for a meeting with management, she states that the powers that be failed to give her a definitive answer as to why her contract was not renewed.
Bellar says that she can only assume, then, that losing her job was connected to her viral video in which she blasted President Obama and Democrats in Congress for foisting on the public the monstrosity that has come to be known as "ObamaCare."
The video can be viewed in the left column below.
Chicago, of course, is the home territory of Barack Obama and is famous for dirty politics and other shenanigans to keep the ruling Democrat majority in power.
It certainly did not help when Bellar ran for the state Senate in Illinois as a Republican.
But she states that the hospital did not seem to have a problem with her state Senate bid and even went as far as to say that it "would be nice" to have a state senator on the staff of the medical facility. However, shortly after her failed bid for political office, she lost her job at MetroSouth.
Bellar further indicated that legal action against the hospital remains an option, although she has not yet made a decision about litigation.
During her meeting with hospital management, Bellar asked that her attorney be present, given that the legal team for MetroSouth would be attending the meeting as well. But before the meeting began, she was told that her attorney would have to leave the room if she wanted the meeting to continue. Once Bellar's attorney was out of the meeting, she states that she still was not given a specific reason as to why her contract was not renewed, which in itself suggests legal culpability on the part of the medical facility.
Bellar's ratings among patients and fellow physicians have consistently ranked high in the 96 percent range. She has had no complaints registered against her. The hospital has not laid off physicians due to financial difficulty.
And this begs the only remaining question, was Dr. Bellar let go due to her political views? If so, federal laws were broken.
