Dobama Theatre announces season's final show’s cast & extension dates

The show will now run April 19 – May 19, 2013

Dobama Theatre has extended the run of their fifth and final production of its fifty-third season, THE LYONS by Nicky Silver will be having its regional premier with a preview performance on April and will close May 19, 2013. The play is directed by Dobama’s Associate Artistic Director Nathan Motta.

Dobama is also excited to announce the cast of THE LYONS: *Christopher Bohan, Sean Grandillo, *Anjanette Hall, Joyce Meadows, *Dudley Swetland, and Jeanne Task

*members of Actors’ Equity Association, the union of professional actors and stage managers in the United States appearing under a special appearance contract

THE LYONS centers on the trials and tribulations of the resolute power yielding matriarch of the family. Her husband is dying. Her son is in a bad relationship. Her daughter is struggling with the twelve step program. Worst of all she has to come up with a fresh and radical design for the living room. What else can go wrong in her life?

Tickets are $26 regular, $24 senior for Fridays and Saturdays, $21 regular, $19 senior for Thursdays and Sundays. Preview tickets for April 18 are $10. Student tickets are $10 (full-time, under 25 with a valid ID)

RUSH tickets, available to patrons 21 & younger, are $5. A limited quantity will be sold nightly no earlier than five minutes before curtain time and will be based on seat availability.

On Sunday, April 21, Dobama offers tickets on a “pay-as-you-can“ basis. In an effort to remove economic barriers and to make Dobama’s productions accessible to everyone, the first Sunday of every production is “pay-as-you-can“, asking patrons simply to pay what they can afford.
