Yes, it’s zany. It’s wacky. It’s just plain silly. But somehow the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile just makes you smile.

Unfortunately though, there are a lot of people in the world who aren’t smiling, which is exactly why Oscar Mayer has teamed up with eBay, to raise money for Feeding America.

According to their website:

Feeding America is the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief charity.

Our network of more than 200 food banks serves all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, securing and distributing more than 2.5 billion pounds of food and grocery products annually. Those member food banks support approximately 61,000 local charitable agencies and 70,000 programs, which provide food directly to individuals and families in need.

To further Feeding America’s mission, Oscar Mayer is giving a lucky eBay winner the chance to win the Wienermobile…well, at least for a day.

The winner will receive:

• The Wienermobile vehicle for one day (one mutually agreed upon 8 hour day between July 15 and December 15, 2010).
• A catered Oscar Mayer cook-out for up to 50 people (Menu to feature Oscar Mayer Hot Dogs with all the fixings and sides to be customized by the winning bidder).
• Everything needed to make the day perfect, including a grill and grilling tools, a cooler, and an oversized stuffed Wienermobile toy.
• A one year supply of Oscar Mayer Hot Dogs (26 packages).
