Ladies, if you've ever wondered how to balance life, kids, work and running, the running and writing duo, Dimity McDowell and Sarah Bowen Shea, literally wrote the book on it. Run Like A Mother is the hilarious, real-life how-to book on how to get in shape without sacrificing all your obligations. In their follow-up, Train Like A Mother, the authors help readers find and train for a race, ranging from the 5K to the marathon. The popularity of the books have helped the duo's website, podcast and Facebook page become the go-to places for women runners to get advice, share experiences and build relationships.

And now you can meet Dimity and Sarah in the flesh. The authors will be hosting an Another Mother Runner event at the Road Runner Sports in Carlsbad on Wednesday, January 15 from 7:30-9:30pm. Enjoy wine and nibbles, giveaways and a discount on your shopping at Road Runner Sports for the night. This is a great opportunity to have fun with two of the running industry's most-loved members.

For more info about the event, check out the AMR website and RSVP!
