Do you question evolution?

Before answering to the tune of “Anyone who questions it is ignorant, stupid or insane (or wicked, but I'd rather not consider that)” or “Question what? It is not even a theory” or, some such thing; keep in mind to always define your terms.

The answer is to be a question, “What do you mean when you say ‘evolution.’” If it merely means “change over time” then all can agree. If it means “a disproof of God” then…well, that is a different story. Some categorize “evolution” as a scientific theory but “Darwinism” as a philosophy. And on it goes.

Well, in order to bring such issues to the forefront, Creation Ministries International (CMI) has launched the Question evolution! campaign which is described as “A grass-roots movement to challenge the anti-Christian dogma of evolution.”

CMI’s Don Batten provided information on this campaign:

“Question evolution!” is off to a great start. The Traditional Values Coalition(TVC), which is one of the largest non-denominational, grassroots church lobbies in America and speaks on behalf of over 43,000 churches, has agreed to promote the campaign. With so many churches involved, there is going to be a whole lot of questioning of evolution going on! Get involved yourself and get your church involved as well—let us work together to spread the truth.

The campaign involves people empowering people to stand firm together against the evolutionary indoctrination so rampant in our schools, universities and media.

He notes that CMI has produced a pamphlet titled “15 Questions for Evolutionists” that “provides 15 critically important questions that evolutionists cannot adequately answer.” You can order copies and/or print them—plain A4-size, plain letter-size.

Moreover, CMI has shirts, hats, caps, bags, mugs, stickers or badges printed with “Question evolution! / Creation.com” or “Evolution—The greatest hoax on Earth? / Get the facts at Creation.com.” These are available at the CMI webstore and Cafepress store. Additionally, you can make your own shirts, caps, etc., using their free downloadable artwork.

Yet, this is not just about activism for its own sake nor a monetary campaign, this is an issue of worldviews. And a specifically anti-Christian worldview is being smuggle into our publicly funded public school classrooms through the backdoor. In fact, atheist propaganda is not being smuggled in the back door but is coming in right through the front, in the form of text books that are supposed to be about science/biology. See the essay Protecting the Science Classroom for various examples of this.

Note that CMI is promoting this campaign through creation.com plus Facebook, YouTubeand Twitter, you can also contact them directly.

See the attached video for a rundown of the campaign and also note that a Christian, ex-atheist, known as Shockofgod has concocted his own video in order to popularize the campaign—see video here—and seeks to strike deep in the heart of Texas!
