High Rise Jeans These are Jeans that the waistband hits at, or slightly above the natural waist this style helps prevent that muffin top look that seems to be so popular. But really looks unattractive and is not at all stylish.

Low Rise jean is when the waistband is below the natural waist. This look can make the torso of a petite person look longer and adds length to a slender short body. If you have a larger rear view you may want to have the Rise higher in the back than the front it works to downsize the larger shapes and slims the body.

Trousers are that looser style that is cut like a dress pant with a flat front and slightly roomier rear.

These are great dressier look for night. Also can give a better fit to someone with a lager rear end with out the baggy look.

Boot cut Jeans skims the thigh and have a slight flare at the leg opening. These jeans are great for wearing boots with they don’t fit to tightly around the boot or ride up on the boot when sitting. The boot cut leg with a medium rise looks great on most body types.

Flare leg jeans are Fitted through the seat, thigh and knee then flared at the leg opening. You want the hem to fall just at the bottom of your heel to elongate the leg and not cut you short.

Strait Leg jeans are the traditional style cut with a strait narrow leg that does not flair at the leg opening.

Skinny Jean have a closer fit throughout the leg. These are the latest trend can be worn with a boot over the leg yet are for the more slender body types.

Relaxed jeans are loosely fitted in all areas to look as though your wearing your “boyfriends jeans“.

Distressed jeans are that style of well worn Jeans otherwise known as thrashed. Too much distress in the wrong place can add to areas you would much rather the eyes weren’t drawn to so keep that in mind.

Embellished jeans are with designs added, usually on back pockets, a bejeweled look or added stitching. This detail on pockets can add to a smaller rear but also make a large rear look bigger

Cropped Jeans or Capri’s are jeans that are cut short in the legs. Which will also shorten the person warring them. Cuffed jeans also have this effect on the over all look of your legs.

If you are mindful of what you want to draw attention too and what you would like to hide buying the perfect pair of jeans to fit your style will be easy.
