Do you know any terrible children?  If you do, Xenia Area Community Theater might have the perfect opportunity.

Auditions for Barbara Robinson's 'Best Christmas Pageant Ever' will be held Saturday, October 17, at 1:00 p.m. and Tuesday, October 20, at 7:00 p.m.  The show calls for children ages 5 to 15 and six adults (5 women and 1 man).  Children will do cold readings from the script and be asked to sing a Christmas carol solo.  Auditions will be held at 45 E. When the show first appeared in Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, it was entitled, 'The Worst Kids in the World.'  The story is based upon the lives of six awfully terrible children who hear that they can get snacks if they go to church.  When they find themselves forced to participate in the annual Christmas play, everyone expects the worst.  But as Xenia's press release states, "[w]hen the curtain goes up, a miracle begins-and it all turns into...The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!"
