This is a good scholarship for writers. It is from CenturyLinkQuote. To enter, write 500 words or less explaining your experience helping a friend or family member with an Internet-related problem.
The scholarship is open to U.S. citizens or Permanent Legal Residents of the United States who are a high school or home school senior graduating or earning a GED between August 1, 2012 and July 31, 2013. Your high school GPA must be at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, and you must have taken either the ACT or SAT test. You must be enrolling for fall 2013 as a freshman at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.
You can also enter if you are a college student with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and enrolled full time at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university between August 1, 2013 and July 31, 2014.
Associates (employees) of any division of CenturyLinkQuote are not eligible to enter.
The deadline to submit your entry is June 30, 2013. The winner will be announced July 5, 2013.
