The program starts in September 2010, a small Catholic community experience is six weeks on prayer and faith based on the Catholic Catechism sponsored by Bishop Cote.

The program is a four year program based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Each year is 12 weeks divided into two sessions of six weeks each - one session in the fall and the second in the spring plus a retreat, adult Ed, RCIA and parent sacramental preparation.

All parishes in the diocese are to participate. Training, provided by Renew International.

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Norwich is back to serve Middletown area residents and they are hosting Bishop Cote's visit on Sunday, August 22nd.

They currently provide services in behavioral health for and children adolescents designed to address a wide variety of emotional and/or behavioral problems as well as substance abuse.

Also assistance with human needs that includes: food, shelter, clothing, utility assistance, transportation, medication, services for the unemployed, mortgage and credit counseling for those with housing or financial difficulties, free pregnancy testing and pre and postnatal care along with adoption services.
