With the recent Arizona fires, many have inquired about the need to keep an inventory of personal belongings in the event of an insurance claim. In the Phoenix metro area, house claims are not just related to fires. Often times the claim is related to a water leak that leads to damaged interiors and personal belongings of a home. Another alternative to a personal inventory is to video the interior of each room and download the video online or store it outside of the home. Also, make sure to keep receipts of any item purchased that is of higher value.
