I don't know if you've noticed the huge popularity of coconut water. Today, you can find the sweet and nutting tasting refreshment everywhere. Low in calories, naturally fat-and cholesterol free, more potassium than four bananas, and super hydrating - these are just a few of the many benefits ascribed to America’s latest health craze: coconut water.

Dubbed "Mother Nature’s sports drink" by marketers, the demand is skyrocketing, propelled by celebrity and athlete endorsements and promises to hydrate the body and help with a whole host of conditions, from hangovers to cancer and kidney stones. But, can dogs drink coconut water? Is it safe for dogs?

YES...not only is coconut water safe for dogs, but it has many potential health benefits, too. It’s packed with vitamins, minerals and electrolytes. When coconut water is fed to dogs, it has been shown to clear skin conditions, sweeten dog breath, condition their fur and even ease arthritis.

Bliss absolutely loves the stuff. What about your dog?
