Restaurant Week is returning to Atlantic City this March for a week-long celebration of the city's growing culinary scene. From March 3rd to March 9th, 79 of Atlantic City's most popular restaurants will be serving up special prix-fixe menus with dinner starting at $33.13 and lunch starting at $15.13. All meals include appetizer, entrée and dessert, excluding beverages, tax and tip.
Since its inception in 2009, Atlantic City's Restaurant Week has introduced both visitors and locals to the diverse and distinctive dining experiences available in the city. Atlantic City has quickly become a culinary powerhouse with world-renowned chefs such as Wolfgang Puck, Marc Forgione, Bobby Flay and Michel Richard opening restaurants throughout the city. Restaurant Week provides an opportunity for diners to sample these gastronomic creations without putting a dent in their wallets.
With culinary styles ranging from high-end steakhouses to casual pub fare, Atlantic City restaurants appeal to the palate of every diner. This year's participants include steakhouses, such as The Palm in Tropicana, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse at Tanger Outlets and American Cut Steakhouse in Revel; Italian favorites like Carmine's and Il Mulino; seafood restaurants including Atlantic Grill, McCormick & Schmick's, and Azurre by Allegretti; and new restaurants to the city such as Kelsey and Kim's and Lillie's Asian Cuisine.
This year's Atlantic City Restaurant Week also is significant for a number of restaurants returning after being damaged in Hurricane Sandy. Restaurants such as Back Bay Ale House, Bocca Coal Fired Bistro, Red Room Café and Steve and Cookie's have all reopened since the storm and are ready to participate in this year's event.
