Do it to Julia, Marley Carroll and Swift Science tonight at The Double Door Inn

If you're looking for a great night of regional indie music, you can't do much better than tonight's show at The Double Door Inn.  Not only is Double Door a great, cozy venue, but they are showcasing some area favorites, both seasoned and up-and-coming.

Asheville is lending Charlotte two of its finest, Do it to Julia and Marley Carroll.  And Boone-bred newcomers Swift Science, fronted by former Julia guitarist JD Rust, are breaking onto the scene with their first show since forming only a few months ago.  But don't let that fool you into brushing them off.  Based on their pedigree, the members of Swift Science have already built a fan base and promise a quality live show.

Doors open at 8:00 tonight, with the show kicking off at 9:00.  Be sure to get there early; you don't want to miss a second of any of these bands' sets.

Just because the bands don't hail from here in town doesn't mean they don't deserve support from their friends in the Queen City .  The Double Door Inn is a staple of the local scene, and it's giving Charlotte a chance to hear some great music from Asheville and Boone.  The more love these bands get when they visit, the more often they can grace our city with their infectious tunes.
