The cliche', "Actions speak louder than words," has been recorded in print since the 17th century.
People may relate more directly to action than to verbal intentions. Actions often hold more substance and carry a bigger impact than words that have been spoken and not followed through with.
If someone tells you that he will do a particular task, especially if he's said it before, and the task does not get completed in a designated time frame, then what does that mean to you?
Does the person not care enough to honor his word? Do you question his integrity and character? Is he being passive-aggressive?
What if that person is you? Have you told yourself or others that you will get something accomplished, only to repeatedly avoid fulfilling your obligation?
When an associate or friend asks you for assistance, if you are truly not in a position to execute it, it is better to set boundaries and say a polite "No" than to lead that person on.
Examine the reasons why you've evaded responsibility. Knowing your limitations is more of a sign of improvement and growth than a haphazard lack of follow-through.
Healthy action aligned with inner passion and positive thinking can create powerful results.
Setting intentions and affirming your desires is only one aspect of the manifestation process.
To create tangible, solid results, it's important to take physical action and show the universe you are ready to improve your life or receive the blessings you intend.
- Positive actions set in motion subsequent positive action, such as in synchronistic events and the principles of the Law of Attraction.
- Seeing visible results can give you more motivation to take the next step, especially if you are pursuing a personal goal.
- Checking off something on a to-do list can increase personal satisfaction and self-worth.
- If you have a verbal contract with someone to perform a particular service and you've been putting it off, the Law of Karma or cause and effect can deliver the same predicament to you. You cannot be upset with someone if you have been doing the same thing to another person. Try to see the underlying lesson in the experiences you draw into your life.
- Personal growth and development occurs first as a thought and feeling and ultimately an action.
When you start with healthy thoughts, feelings, attitudes, and underlying beliefs, you are in a better position to take active steps forward.
I have always thought the actions of men the best interpreters of their thoughts. ~ John Locke
Well done is better than well said. ~ Benjamin Franklin
A promise is a cloud; fulfillment is rain. ~ Arabian Proverb
Nothing diminishes anxiety faster than action. ~ Walter Anderson, The Confidence Course, 1997
Remember, people will judge you by your actions, not your intentions. You may have a heart of gold - but so does a hard-boiled egg. ~ Author Unknown
Affirmations: I honor my word with action. I take personal satisfaction in completing tasks for myself and others. My actions are aligned with my words and higher purpose. It is OK to set boundaries and say "No." I keep my thoughts, feelings, and actions focused on positive outcomes. I fulfill my goals one active step at a time.

I think words and actions are equally as powerful. For example, when you say those 2 little words "I Do" - they change your life forever - immediately. Of course action must follow...but I think words can be just as (if not more) powerful at times.
I think the way you describe the Law of Attraction is the best way I have read in awhile. Thank you for the positive vibes!
