DMMC announces bands for 2014 Gross Domestic Product

Earlier today, the Des Moines Music Coalition announced the lineup of bands for their annual all-Iowa music showcase Gross Domestic Product. The 2014 GDP will be held on April 12 in Des Moines' East Village with main stages at Wooly's and the House of Bricks, a free stage at the Beechwood Lounge, and free "pop-up shows" at East Village businesses (announced later). A limited number of discounted advance tickets for the event will go on sale through the Des Moines Music Coalition website on Friday, March 14. The complete schedule, along with ticket prices, will be announced on Friday, as well. Here is the list of 18 bands that will be featured at this year's Gross Domestic Product:

This year, for the first time, Gross Domestic Project will also feature a Music University component. The DMMC's signature educational music industry event will be a part of the 2014 GDP proceedings. Details will be announced at a later date.
