Just because the football season is over for the Denver Broncos does not mean their commitment to the community ends. As an organization the Denver Broncos have always been active in supporting charities and community organizations. Many of the players have taken up their own causes, on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 D.J. Williams, nine-year veteran linebacker of the Denver Broncos, visited Sims-Fayola International Academy in support of the all-boys academy. Mr. Williams has been a long-time supporter and contributor of the school and is currently working with the school on the construction of a new library facility.
There is profound importance in getting involved in charity and supporting the community in any way possible. Although it is always good to give monetarily if you are able, supporting the community doesn't always have to come in the form of cash. It is always an inspiration to know that Denver athletes support their communities and are continuously willing to give back in any and every-way they can.
