Leave it to Jersey Shore star DJ Pauly D to cause yet another mob in New York City - forcing NYPD to step in, again. (That's only after cops forced an unrecognizable Pauly to remove his Halloween mask and reveal himself before allowing him on the Pacha float at the Halloween Parade. We're still not sure how they missed his infamous blowout!) The MTV reality star was reportedly beseiged by fans as the float he was on for the Villiage Halloween Parade neared the end of the parade route Monday night.

“Police tried to rope off the street ... but people stormed past the ropes. One reveler in an orange outfit climbed on the float and tried to grab Pauly,” the New York Post quotes a witness as saying. Pauly reportedly tried to run down the street, but was forced up against an SUV by the mob of people.

This is the second time in two months NYPD has been called in for crowd control at an event featuring Pauly D. In early September during NYC's Fashion Night Out the MTV reality star caused hysteria when he tried to leave Kim Kardashian's DASH store after spinning there. But according to our sources the Halloween mob scene put the mass hysteria at the DASH NYC event 'to shame.'
