With all proceeds channeled to the Irie Foundation, the 10th Annual DJ Irie Weekend leveraged dozens of sports and entertainment superstars to fund arts education for Miami’s disadvantaged youth. In true Miami style, the attendees exhibited impressive fashion while contributing to a wonderful cause.

DJ Irie’s music is high energy; hence his ‘weekend’ was three days of non-stop events and activities. Thursday kicked it off with a youth golf clinic at Miami Beach Golf Club, with celebrity Jamie Foxx learning some pointers. The National Hotel in Miami Beach hosted the night’s festivities, which included a guest appearance by DJ Ma$e working the crowd with “Mo Money Mo Problems” and newer releases.

Irie picked up more accolades during the weekend, as Beck’s Beer announced his inclusion in their Live Beyond Labels campaign. DJ Irie’s image will be featured on 500,000 bottles of Becks nationwide.

Friday returned participants to the Miami Beach Golf Club for a tournament including celebrities Dwyane Wade, Kevin Dillon, and Jason Taylor. Fashion was also present with the Miami Fashion Network crew and custom logo tees from local brand, Peace Love World on the scene. After a hot day of golf, the players cooled down at LIV Nightclub in the Fontainebleau. Guests were treated to a surprise performance by none other than Puff Daddy and DJ Nick Cannon.

The BBQ was served Saturday at The National Hotel, where guests lounged in preparation for a challenging night of bowling at Lucky Strikes. The weekend subsided at Miami’s downtown hotspot for partying morning, noon, and night, E11even Miami.

This event-laden, star-studded weekend was the perfect reminder that Miami’s star power can drive awareness and funds to a great cause.
