To officially begin DJ Grinch’s final evening of his residency—he played a track from Tom Caruana’s Wu-Tang Clan versus The Beatles’ mixtape, “Enter the Magical Mystery Chambers”. It consisted of Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s “Got Your Money” and The Beatles’ “You Never Give Me Your Money”. He followed it with another intergenerational mash up by Athis & Vocalteknix edit of Mashmike’s remix of “Diggin’ Ray Charles”. It consisted of Kanye West featuring Jamie Foxx vs. Chiddy Bang.

After playing “At Night” by Ministry Of Sound—DJ Grinch played “I’m Out of Silhouette”, which was a mash up of Ciara featuring Nicki Minaj’s “I’m Out” and Avicii’s “Silhouettes”. As the music continued to play—security guards and members of the wait staff removed tables and chairs from the dance floor. While they did so, friends from DJ Grinch’s past approached his station and congratulated him on his last night at the venue.

Requests poured in and DJ Grinch mentioned he was able to grant some and not all. The first request had come from a bride and her bridesmaid. She asked if he could help get them both back to her reception. Her idea was a dollar dance and he kindly declined her request, as OneRepublic’s “Counting Stars” played.

As DJ Grinch played Jagged Edge featuring Reverend Run’s “Let’s Get Married”, dancers occupied the dance floor. When he returned with more R&B with Next’s “Too Close”, dancers made their way back and remained dancing for Justin Timberlake featuring Jay-Z’s “Suit & Tie” and Kid Ink featuring Chris Brown’s “Show Me”. Later in the evening, he ended his recital with Eric Clapton, Green Day and Mozart’s mash up, “The Day The Music Died”

Beastie Boys’ “Brass Monkey” and Jason DeRulo’s “Talk Dirty” mash up, House of Pain’s “Jump Around” and Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 5 in C minor” mash up, Foxy Brown featuring Dru Hill’s “Big Bad Mamma”, Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places”, Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock’s “It Takes Two” and “Joy And Pain” mash up, Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean”, Stevie B’s “Spring Love”, T-Pain’s version of Lorde’s “Royals” and Panic! At The Disco’s featuring Lolo’s “Miss Jackson” were also part of DJ Grinch’s set.
