The Christian Broadcast Network (CBN) announced on Feb. 26 that evangelist Benny Hinn will remarry his ex-wife, Suzanne, on March 3.
A tentative date has been set before; however, this comes after an entire year of reconciliation following a highly publicized divorce.
The couple had been married for more than 30 years when Suzanne filed for divorce in 2010, citing irreconcilable differences.
The evangelist calls this "A Joyous Announcement" on his website. He writes:
On March 3, less than two weeks from now, Suzanne and I will stand before God and our family members as we celebrate the restoration of our marriage in a ceremony conducted by Dr. Jack Hayford, evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, and Suzanne’s father, Dr. Roy Harthern!
Hinn said in a statement:
"I want you to receive this good news because our Lord Jesus has done a great and miraculous thing in our lives, together and individually. Suzanne and I are more in love and happier than ever. Most importantly, we know that the hand of God has brought this about, and to Jesus be all glory, honor, and praise!"
Speaking on behalf of Suzanne, Evangelist Hinn said:
"We are excited about the future, and sharing our vows together in the March 3 ceremony has been the perfect next step toward our spending the rest of our lives together.
"Thank you for praying for my sweet family, Suzanne, and me! It is because of your prayers, intercession, and love that we are where we are today."
The evangelist gives a special invitation to the public:
The staff of Benny Hinn Ministries invites you to send your messages of congratulations, well-wishes, and encouragement to Pastor Benny and Suzanne as they prepare to renew their wedding vows.
