Not only is Track Palin, Sarah Palin's son, going through a divorce, but Sarah Palin's sister-in-law, Wendy Palin, has also filed for divorce. According to a report dated Jan. 2, Wendy Palin cited “incompatibility of temperament” as grounds for the divorce.
Marilyn Stowe Blog also reported on Jan. 2 that Wendy Palin has filed for sole custody of their daughter, who is ten years old. James Palin, Wendy Palin's husband, filed for joint custody. At the time of publication, Wendy Palin has primary custody.
This latest divorce is the second divorce in the Palin family. Track Palin and Britta Palin jointly filed for divorce late last year. The high school sweethearts were married in may of 2011.
Seeing that Sarah Palin's son and daughter-in-law filed jointly, their divorce appears to be going much smoother than the divorce of James and Wendy Palin. When a couple files jointly for a divorce in Alaska that means they have already settled all of the issues, including property division, spousal and child support.
