Divorce for Tiger Woods; Elin Nordegren consults with high powered divorce attorney. Elin Nordegren has been consulting with Hollywood divorce attorney, Sorrell Trope. She plans to take the two children with her to Sweden for the holidays without Tiger Woods, People Magazine reported Friday.

Sorrell Trope has represented the likes of Cary Grant, Nicole Kidman, Nicolas Cage, Hugh Grant and Britney Spears. Sorrell has been in practice since 1949 and is known as a hard-nosed negotiator, according to People Magazine.

The New York Post interviewed Manhattan divorce lawyer, Robert Wallack who called Trope "the dean of the California matrimonial bar."

A Beverly Hills family law lawyer, Alexandra Leichter said, "He's in a class of maybe 12 or 15 lawyers that handles very high-asset, high-income divorces with contentious custody cases," according to the New York Post. 

Elin Nordegren, 29, has been in public this week without her wedding ring, and giving movers instructions on what to take out of the Florida home she shares with Tiger Woods.

Tiger Woods has been in seclusion for the past three weeks, and it was reported Friday that he has spent a lot of time alone, eating cereal, watching cartoons and playing golf at night when he can’t be seen. For more on that story, click here.

Tiger Woods has been under intense media focus for the past two and a half weeks. A few days before Thanksgiving, the National Enquirer released a story about an alleged affair of Tiger Woods and Rachel Uchitel, and the story didn’t get much fan attention until after Woods crashed his car the day after Thanksgiving. Then multiple stories of Tiger Woods alleged affairs appeared and women came out with statements.

Tiger Woods released a statement on Friday stating that he is quitting golf indefinitely, and that he needs to spend time with his family. To read Woods complete statement, click here.

A few days later Jaimee Grubbs came forward with her story of an affair with Woods, and she offered proof with a voicemail from Tiger Woods and over 300 text messages from him. A few hours later, Woods released a statement on his website saying that he had hurt his family with his transgressions. To read the full Tiger Woods statement, click here.

Tiger Woods had his third knee surgery in Park City, Utah on April 15, 2008, and took two months off. He was determined to play in the US Open and win...which he did on June 14, 2008, much to everyone's amazement less than two months after his knee surgery. He was in pain during the US Open, as shown in this Associated Press photo. After the US Open, Tiger Woods took additional time off to let his knee heal.

    If this were a black women, we would not be up in arms like this. Come on people men are men and wikk continue being men, Tiger just happen to get caught. As a counselor, I tell men and women all ways keep an open mind.
