Diving is a sport where good friends can make lasting memories.
There is an energetic group of women that are making a name for themselves as the "Diving Divas". Although this group has been in existence for over 10 years now, the concept of traveling with a group instead of solo is catching on quickly.
After meeting each other on a dive vacation in St. Croix, nine ladies all agreed that this trip was most likely one of the best adventures that they had ever had. Why should it end?
Through the creative mind of PADI Master Instructor, Lana McGlynn, this group of vivacious divers came to fruition developing a bond that bears a friendship bound together in more ways than just diving. Most of the group are career women between the ages of 30 and 60. As McGlynn puts it, "It’s an environment for women of a all ages to come together and enjoy a great dive destination, shopping and fine dining while creating lasting friendships and wonderful memories."
Their enthusiasm is addictive as they visit dive destinations and log new experiences each time. Besides a dedicated day of diving, duty-free shopping and satisfying spas catch their fancy. Once the evening comes, elegant dining awaits. Traveling to some of the best scuba sites in the world, they encourage fellow solo lady divers to join their group. Some of the exciting diving coming up this year that is open to all will take them to Belize from May 25-June 1st, Bonaire from July 13-20th, Philippines from October 5-20, 2013 and heading into 2014 there are plans to dive in Utila from February 15-22, 2014. In prior years, this great group of divers made memories in the Turks & Caicos, the Antarctica Peninsula and Socorro Islands, Mexico.
The "Diving Divas" even have their own apparel for sale which consists of a two-tone fleece jacket, tank tops and sweatshirt. Carry it all in their "Diving Divas" tote.
These wonderful women help others to build stronger skills, gain confidence and experience with little or no pressure while mixing fun and enjoyment into the mix. Diving will never be the same once you do it with the "Diving Divas".
