Was that meat dress that she once wore a hint of her future? On the set of "Machete Kills," Lady Gaga was so determined to stay on her "strict" weight loss plan that she cooked all her own food, reported Metro UK on September 22.
And if you're going to become your own chef, why not do it all the way and insist on your own cookware and utensils? That apparently was Lady Gaga's decision, as an on-set source reported that she used her own pots, pans and utensils in order to stay on her "strict diet while filming."
The source told the New York Post: "She cooked all her own food in her trailer."
However, she generously left the souvenirs of her sovereign experience in the trailer kitchen.
"She didn’t want to take the pots and pans with her on the plane," explained the source.
As for her strict diet details: It's a low-calorie plan that resulted in the loss of over 20 pounds, according to the Daily Star. Among the highlights of her weight loss program:
- One week eating hard-boiled eggs
- One week eating only spinach
And for those contemplating following this low-carb, low-calorie plan at home, heed this warning: It causes an odor.
"Whose stomach and intestines wouldn’t be in turmoil?” said a source. "The eggs-only week was especially bad and a vapour trail of sulphur followed in her wake.”
Normally, however, Lady Gaga avoids crash diets and works out with celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, according to Fitness Magazine. Author of "The Body Reset Diet: Power Your Metabolism, Blast Fat, and Shed Pounds in Just 15 Days," Harley emphasizes that fad diets aren't advised.
"Dieter, beware: Weight-loss fads can be bad for your health," he tweeted recently.
