Dita Von Teese, although not a mother herself, has launched a lovely lingerie line for new and nursing mothers reported Web Pro News Thursday. Goodbye granny bras that opens to reveal baby’s lunch, and hello functional support that is also pretty.

Welcome giant, leaking baby boobs to the sexy world of Dita Von Teese, born Heather Renée Sweet. The 41-year-old burlesque dancer/model/actor/costume designer/author/singer/entrepreneur, once married to Marilyn Manson, has taken her skills to lingerie making for new mothers. Known for putting the “tease back in striptease,” the once Playboy cover girl began a lingerie line in 2012 called Von Follies by Dita Von Teese. The line has now expanded to include intimates for postpartum women with the online retailer Destination Maternity.

According to People the “lingerie is a limited edition capsule collection” created to “embrace mom’s sexy side.” On her new lingerie line for moms, Dita Von Teese said in a statement, “Elegant underpinnings are a simple way to create everyday moments of luxury and beauty, and why wouldn’t a new mother enjoy beautiful lingerie, too?” She went on to declare that, ”The collection I created with Destination Maternity is designed to capture the spirit of retro glamour, while inspiring confidence and meeting the practical requirements and everyday needs of a new mother.”

The lingerie has a retro vibe, of course, reflecting Von Teese’s signature style. The intimates are practical for new mothers, yet as stated above, encourages self-confidence with its glamour. Prices range from $39-$55 and include embellished lace bras and nursing bras, with or without underwire, and matching underwear with a discreet control panel for comfort. The nursing bras are complete with clip-down tabs and detachable cups for added comfort. The Long Island Women’s Style Examiner wishes Dita Von Teese’s nursing bras were available 8 years ago.

Dita Von Teese was last seen at her annual “Garden & Arts” soirée wrote People where guests were dressed in costume. The designer looked stunning as a 40s pinup star in a green gown and a “tease” of her own peek-a-boo red bra and Louboutin flats.
