Coatesville, PA - Sometimes reality is more disturbing than fiction. A mind-boggling situation uncovered in Chester County last night is one such instance.
Evidence inside of a home in the 2400 block of Wayne Avenue left authorities in shock.
Strewn throughout the home and the backyard were dog skulls and skeletal remains.
According to ABC Action News, it appears that the occupants of the home had sacrificed the dogs.
While officials made their way through the house, they found books on witchcraft and the occult. They also encountered gold leafed skeletal remains.
In the backyard, chicken body parts were found hanging from tree limbs and charred skeletal remains were discovered in a fire pit.
Accoding to the ABC news publication, authorities described what they saw as "sickening".
Two people have been arrested on multiple charges in this horrific situation.
