Scott Disick, the boyfriend of Kourtney Kardashian, was recently hospitalized after swallowing a bottle of pills. Disick has understandably been depressed after the shocking deaths of both his parents several months ago, and was hospitalized or alcohol poisoning in June, TMZ reported.

The hospitalization, which came after his alcohol poisoning, was revealed in a preview to the first season of "Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons."

On a recent episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," Disick got upset after Kourtney revealed she was pregnant with their third child. Disick, 31, said that while he loves being a father, having two small children is exhausting and has strained his relationship with Kourtney. The couple usually sleeps in separate bedrooms.

“I barely feel like I can take care of myself," he confessed. "I am hanging on by a string. I’m so f***ing tired. I just [want] to have some fun.”

Scott and Kourtney's relationship has also been strained by Disick's partying and excessive drinking over the years. Disick has cut back on drinking a lot, but still parties to excess when he's stressed.

In the preview to "Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons," (the fifth spinoff to "Keeping Up With the Kardashians"), Disick is rushed to the hospital after swallowing a bottle of pills after Kourtney locks him out of their summer house for excessive drinking.

“Unless you want to be sober, then I don’t want you here,” said Kourtney. “And if you want to die, then you can continue to act this way.”

Both Of Scott's Parents Died Several Months Ago

Disick's battle with alcoholism has been a running theme on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" for the past few seasons. This past year has been especially rough for Scott. In October 2013, his mother, Bonnie, died at age 63. Three months later, Scott's father, Jeffrey Disick, also died. No cause of death was provided in either instance.

Scott isn't the only member of the Kardashian clan who has battled substance abuse. NBA star Lamar Odom, the ex-husband of Khloe Kardashian, began abusing drugs and partying heavily shortly after being cut from the Los Angeles Lakers in 2011. His NBA career has floundered since then, and his marriage fell apart, in part due to his erratic drug-fueled behavior.

Similarly, Rob Kardashian, the younger brother of Kim Kardashian, is battling severe depression, anxiety and a rumored drug addiction after his shocking 100-pound weight gain. Sources said Kardashian has gotten dependent on the anti-anxiety drug Xanax and the painkillers Norco and Percocet to ease his depression.

Rob's recent dramatic weight gain (rumored to be about 100 pounds) has been an ongoing source of concern for his sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney, who are not only worried about his physical health, but his emotional well-being. Kardashian recently embarked on a plan to lose 50 pounds through diet and exercise.

Meanwhile, Kardashian family patriarch Bruce Jenner is making headlines, as his Spanx obsession and refusal to cut his ponytail fueled more rumors he wants to be a woman and is seeking a sex change operation.

Disclaimer: Scott Disick has not denied or commented on whether this was, in fact, an unsuccessful suicide attempt. However, we hope it was not and are glad he's well.
