The Ann Arbor weather has been erratic at best. One day last week, I began to wonder if it is time to turn on the air conditioner. The warm weather was followed by thunderstorms and a few inches of snow. The weather is making it hard to plan weekend events, sports practices and the upcoming Easter Holiday.
Children are begriming the Long Easter weekend with unreliable weather conditions. Church services, the Easter Bunny, traditional holiday meals and Easter egg hunts will make for a fun filled Easter Sunday. However, what are we to do with Friday and Saturday?
This is a great weekend to take a break and enjoy a calm candy free family outing. Travel to a local Ann Arbor movie theater and take in a showing of Disney Nature's African Cats! This presentation will feature the majestic large cats of the African Savanna!
Friday April 22, 2011 is Earth Day! You can plan a family day that includes Earth Day crafts, gardening, a vegetarian meal, a nature hike and enjoy a nature film. If you view the Disneynature's African Cats during the first week at the box office, a donation will be made to help save the African Savanna Cats! Help Disneynature to celebrate Earth Day in honor of these gorgeous cats!
