During any trip to Disneyland guests need a place to stay. Countless people think that staying on Disney property is the greatest option for lodging. However, for those on a budget staying at one of the neighboring hotels (known as good neighbor hotels) can save a bundle, with off peak rates as low as $30 a night versus over $100 a night for Disney property stays.
Most of the good neighbor hotels are within a few miles of the park and there are numerous hotels that are within blocks of the main entrance. Guests can easily walk from their hotel to the entrance to Disneyland.
With parking at Disneyland currently $16 a day, these good neighbor hotels are a fantastic way to save money on parking as well. Certain hotels even offer free or cheap buses to the park for guests who don’t feel up to the walking. If guests think they might want to take one of these buses back to their hotel at the end of the day, they need to make sure to buy the pass before they leave, because these hotels do not sell bus passes at Disneyland.
