runDisney held the sixth annual Disneyland Half Marathon on Sunday, Sept. 4. A field of almost 15,000 runners, walkers and wheelchair athletes took over Disneyland and Disney California Adventure theme parks starting at 6 a.m., as well as took to the streets of Anaheim to complete the 13.1 mile race.
Humberto Rojas, 27, of Fountain Valley, Calif, won the overall race with a chip time of 1:08:14.
Chicago's Jesse Kleinjan, 27, came in second with a time of 1:12:13. Placing third in the men's division, with a time of 1:12:54, was Juan Arjona, 19, of Moreno Valley, Calif.
Rachel Booth, 30,of Mandeville, LA was the top female finisher and last year's defending women’s champion, with a chip time of 1:18:01, less than 10 minutes after Rojas.
In second place was Jennifer Boyd, 39, from Santa Paula, Calif., who came in at 1:23:17. In third was Susan Loken, 48, of Phoenix, who finished at 1:23:43.
In the wheeler divisions, Marc Aten, 37, took the top spot overall with a finish time of 1:02:21. Sandi Rush, 50, of Fallbrook, Calif. took the top spot in the women's wheeler division with a chip time of 2:32:44.
The Disneyland Half Marathon also has a celebrity runner on the course. Comic and "The Price is Right Host" Drew Carey, 53, finished with a chip time of 1:50:45.

All participants who finished the half marathon within its allotted time earned a finisher’s medal, featuring the classic Disneyland “D.”
In addition to the half marathon, Disneyland held its 5K family fun run on Saturday, especially as the event featured a Star Tours theme, including Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald in "Star Wars" costumes. Participants who finished that race received a Star Tours themed medal.
The Disneyland Half Marathon is scheduled for Labor Day Weekend, and tends to sell out early. Disneyland will also host a new half marathon in 2012, a women's centered race. The inaugural Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend will be held Jan. 27- 29.
