Just about anything can be celebrated at the Walt Disney World Resorts. Popular Disney vacation celebrations include a birthday, anniversary, graduation or retirement. Other celebration vacations may include a family reunion, a big promotion, returning from the call of duty or college acceptance. The list just goes on an on. If it is something to be celebrated, Disney World can help!
Turning your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation into a celebration may take a little bit of work, but the excitement and uniqueness of your vacation is well worth the effort. Here are some tips to help turn your next Disney vacation into a major celebration.
- Buttons: Pick up celebration buttons at any guest relations office at theme parks or front desks at the resorts. Buttons available include: “Happy Birthday,” “Happy Anniversary,” “Family Reunion,” “Just Engaged,” “1st Visit” and “Happily Ever After.” There is also a generic “I’m Celebrating” button for those who have something to celebrate that is not available in the button selection.
- Cakes: Order a celebration cake to be delivered to your resort room or to a special celebration dinner. To order cakes call 406.827.CAKE.
- Decorate your room: Bring along some decorating items, such as lights, streamers and banners to hang up in your room’s window. You can also decorate your room with balloons and flowers you have delivered to your room from the Disney Florist. To order your balloons and/or flowers contact 407.WDW.GIFT.
- Special extras: There are many different extras available at the Walt Disney World Resorts and Theme Parks for guests to add on to their celebration vacation. These extras include character meals, spa treatments and personalized Mickey Mouse ears.
No matter what you will be celebrating during your vacation, Disney has something for every type of celebration.
