Eli Manning helped win the Super Bowl leading his New York Giants to victory on Sunday night. Immediately following the game, Manning looked into TV cameras and shouted “I'm Going to Disney World!” He is the latest star in the famous Disney commercial series that shares the joy of the Magic Kingdom and continues a Disney Resorts tradition.
As guests of Walt Disney World found out, the professional athlete who has turned into a big celebrity overnight, was at the Magic Kingdom on Monday for a special parade. Sitting next to Mickey Mouse in a red convertible on the parade route in front of the Cinderella castle, the quarterback waved to fans who came to congratulate the man who won the Super Bowl XLVI MVP.
Complete with kids from the NFL Youth Programs, Manning along with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse were part of a time honored tradition of being recognized as one of the most important people in the football game. The honor included plenty of ticker tape, balloons, fireworks and lots of waving from the little kids who were excited to see a celebrity in person.
Keep in mind Eli Manning only won the Super Bowl Sunday night. The man has to be tired already after performing on the field and then going to Orlando. His journey isn’t over yet as he’s also going to be part of the victory parade for the New York Giants on Tuesday. The streets of New York will host thousands of fans who want to see the team and celebrate too.
