As many avid Disney travelers know the Disney Dining Plan is a way to enhance our upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. By adding the Disney Dining Plan to our vacation, we are able to enjoy everything - room accommodations, theme park admission and food - for one package price. It is an enhancement to the already fabulous Magic Your Way Ticket and is a must have, especially if you want to enjoy some of the fancier restaurants at Disney.
So, how do you use the Disney Dining Plan? Simple. A certain amount of meals and snacks (dependent upon the package you purchase) are added to your Disney room key. You swipe the card every time you make a meal or snack purchase and it deducts the entitlements as you go. Plan only works are participating Disney dining locations.
How much does the Disney Dining Plan cost? Well that depends on a few factors, including the number of nights you are staying and which package you choose. There are different packages to choose from here is a list of the current Disney Dining Plans available:
- Magic Your Way Plus Dining Plan - For every night you stay at Disney you will receive one quick-service meal, one table-service meal and one snack.
- Quick-Service Dining Plan - For every night you stay at Disney you will receive two quick-service meals and one snack. This plan also includes a refillable drink mug - limit one per person.
- Magic Your Way Deluxe Dining Plan - For every night you stay at Disney you will receive three of your choice between table- or quick-service meals.
What does a quick-service meal include? It includes a main course, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage.

What is a snack? These items are sold from carts or small stands throughout the Disney theme parks. They include ice cream, pop corn, drinks, chips, apple juice, fruit cups, etc.
Why choose the Disney Dining Plan? With the plan you will be able to enjoy multiple character meals and buffets during your vacation. Plus, you are able to split the quick-service meals, making it possible to try various restaurants throughout your stay.
